The factory fuel pump and injectors begin to run out of capacity around 400 PS. Above that, larger injectors are needed. Shown are SARD 540 cc side feed injectors for JZX90, ¥13,125.
Consider replacing the pump even below 400 PS. A larger aftermarket pump works, but a factory GT-R pump is a common choice and supports roughly 550 PS. When Mori changes the pump, it often raises fuel pressure with a regulator to improve atomization from the stock injectors.
T67-25G — ¥514,500. Combining the TD06L2 exhaust housing with a TD07-25G compressor wheel, this turbo emphasizes midrange torque compared with the TD06. Its plain bearing core is durable, and it supports around 450 PS. TRUST TD06H-25G — ¥514,500. Strong high rpm punch is its defining feature: power surges as boost rises. It has less midrange than the T67 but substantially better top end, with 500 PS possible.

GT3037 Pro S — ¥270,900. For over 400 PS with an actuator controlled turbo, this bolt on replacement is recommended. Fuel system upgrades allow roughly 430 PS, a good match for its size. Beyond that, the actuator setup limits high rpm gains even with upgraded cams.
Auto Service Mori's recommended specification. This car uses a Nismo GT-R fuel pump and SARD fuel pressure regulator, with stock injectors. The intercooler is a two layer HKS unit. Custom intake piping improves appearance and resists popping off under boost. With a metal catalyst and 1.2 kg/cm² boost, it produces 410 PS.

Mori removes the ETCS secondary throttle as a service for JZX100 customers. Disconnecting the connector triggers a warning light, so the throttle plate's retaining bolts are drilled out and the plate removed instead. Removing the unwanted intervention reportedly improves the feel considerably.
¥564,900 when combined with the GT3040 kit
There is no dedicated 1JZ kit for this turbo, but installation is possible using the 1JZ GT3040 kit. Ball bearings provide useful midrange despite its larger size, giving manageable power delivery and potential approaching 500 PS.

On a JZX110, replacing the throttle and cable with JZX100 parts can bypass ETCS-i. The drawback is cost: it also requires F-CON V Pro control. Once done, the engine can be tuned like the JZX100's 1JZ.

Including tuning, F-CON SZ costs around half as much as V Pro and may be a good choice. This car uses its predecessor, F-CON S. With a larger turbo approaching 500 PS, the stock airflow meter reaches its measurement limit; a pressure sensor based system such as V Pro can handle it.
An 80 mm or larger exhaust is preferred, though 76.4 mm still makes good power. This is an 80 mm Kazama Auto exhaust. The car produced 397 PS with its original catalyst; an A'PEXi sports catalyst raised that to 410 PS.
Above 400 PS, standard cams tend to limit top end around 430 PS. HKS's Valcon V Cam Kit Pro, ¥149,100, controls the JZX100's VVT-i and allows valve timing to be adjusted freely. It improves high rpm performance, with gains of over 50 PS possible on a GT3037 setup.
Keep coolant below 100°C. A radiator with at least three rows and an oil cooler with at least ten rows are desirable. The 1JZ engine bay has little room for airflow; the article recommends a copper radiator over aluminum for cooling. A two layer or larger front mount intercooler should be sufficient.
