A definite power increase

Removing the catalytic converter lets exhaust gas flow more freely and produces a noticeable power increase. However, it does not comply with vehicle regulations, so Yamaji says he would like to test the performance of a sports catalytic converter.

Silicone hoses near the exhaust manifold are exposed to heat. Even wrapping them in heat-resistant material does not prevent deterioration. Once they deteriorate, air can leak out here and cost you power.

Heat has a bigger effect than you think!

If the inlet is blocked, you won’t make power!
