The milestone tenth captain will be chosen here! Our search for the tenth assault captain took us to a mountain pass in F Prefecture, 600 km from Tokyo. Rain intensified as we approached, and by our arrival at about 1 a.m. the whole prefecture was experiencing record rainfall.

Only six cars were attacking the road in that weather. Fewer than usual, but ideal conditions for choosing the true mountain-pass boss: anyone coming out on a night like this must really love it! The following day, a landslide struck the pass, and apparently there is still no date for reopening.

It's a great drift spot, so we hope it reopens soon.
