Fiercely . Eleven members drive a variety of cars including Soarers, 180SXs and Tourer Vs, mainly at Setonaikai and Bihoku circuits. The body color is an original team metallic blue.
Many members emphasize engine tuning. Masaki Ishihara's beautifully finished 180SX is especially powerful: a V-mount setup with a one-off intercooler and RX6 turbo makes 420 hp. Auto Garage Takahashi built the engine.
The Calsonic logo on the intercooler looks great, though the intercooler itself isn't a Calsonic product!

Beauty…
…I'm confident in it!
I painted the inside! [opening fragment damaged]
Ishimaru's Silvia had an airbrushed cam cover and polished piping. Its 2.1-liter engine uses Z32 pistons and a GT2540 turbo. He plans to strengthen the body and make it suitable for grip driving too.
A beautifully shining engine bay!

Kenji Ando, JZX100
He dismantled the JZX100 headlights and painted the reflector housing black. Apparently that makes the lights look more sparkling. They do look clean and cool! It seems simple enough to become popular.
Takayuki Ishimaru, S14
The gullwing doors open outward first, then rise. Their hinges look sturdy. Fitment to a four-door hadn't been confirmed, but it looked as if the mechanism might fit as it was.
There was a penguin too!
Yasuhito Watanabe, HCR32 . Speed Shack's demo car, for which an R32 gullwing kit had been released, also entered. The engine is heavily tuned: an RB25 with a TD06-25G made a measured 484 hp. Removing the lights allowed striking intercooler piping, and the hood's extended sections are unusual.
Vinyl graphics give the Sunny truck a modern flavor!
The engine, bored out to 1,500 cc and fitted with FCR carburetors, sounded excellent. Vinyl graphics and multi-reflector lights completed the exterior too.

Could this be Shikoku's only drifting C35?

Masahito Miyoshi, C35
The car is a canvas! Michie Ajimoto, PS13
This illustration represents ‘anger.’ She said she drew it to express the engine's power. Its deliberately amateurish charm gives it real character.
He drives a Laurel that began as an NA model, swapped to an R33 RB25 with a GT2535 turbo. Few Shikoku drivers are apparently focusing on the C35 yet, so it stood out. Claimed maximum power is 360 hp… [other specification text damaged]
The only female entrant was full of personality: she drew her own portrait on the car with a marker! The Silvia looks almost stock, but it has forged pistons, high cams and a PE1420 turbo, and reportedly makes 370 hp. You'd never imagine that from its appearance.
…that's what he says!
Are metallic blue and metallic red Ehime's two major forces? What's great is how firmly they coordinate their team colors. Teams like these have momentum. Seeing the cars lined up was enough to give you goosebumps!
Pick-up: hot teams
Here are two large teams we happened to find at the venue! Their great…
Crazy Circus
Crazy: all the cars are four-door and painted the same metallic ‘Crazy Red.’ Ten members came that day. They pay attention to details such as sequential license plates in membership order. A team whose future growth should be fun to watch!
A team formed by four-door-car friends in Matsuyama…
…aiming to be the wildest four-door crew
Their matching coveralls read ‘Wildest four-door crew.’ Most members' cars use full aero suitable for four-doors, with plenty to see. The ADVAN-colored Cefiro is also part of this team.
