GT3037 Pro S — for S14 / S15: ¥270,900. This actuator controlled turbo is suited to output approaching 500 PS. It costs less than the external wastegate GT3037 kit, around ¥480,000, while offering high output. Although some consider it less suitable for high boost, Top Secret uses it on D1 cars for its good response.

Ball bearings provide excellent response too.
The exhaust need not be a particular brand. Choose one without a narrowed section inside the silencer, with a consistent diameter of approximately 76.3 mm from the main pipe to the tail.
Top Secret recommends A'PEXi's Super Catalyzer sports catalyst, priced at ¥68,000 for the S15. A 400 PS output remains possible with it fitted.
F-CON V Pro control gives better response!
Around 400 PS can be tuned satisfactorily with a factory ECU remap, but F-CON allows finer control and better response. If cams and further turbo upgrades are planned, starting with V Pro can be worthwhile.
Top Secret recommends the GT-RS turbo specification, with fuel system and cooling upgrades essential. The pictured car has just arrived for conversion and has not yet been tuned. It is expected to produce 400 PS at 1.4 kg/cm² boost.
A fine build from Top Secret: Miki's Silvia
Tuning has not yet been completed.

Replace the gaskets too!
Use a 1.2 mm head gasket and an S15 factory exhaust manifold gasket. Even if the standard parts have no problem, these are often replaced while fitting cams or changing the manifold.
...because of its response. If the external wastegate sound appeals more, choose that version. Either way, 400 PS, the stock transmission's limit, is the dividing line for Silvia tuning. Running costs change sharply above it. Choose according to your goals and budget!
