A complete JZX100 manual conversion previously required changing the ECU and several wiring harnesses, making it costly. Our former approach avoided major faults, but we can now perform a nearly complete conversion at a reasonable price. Stalling, high rpm response and idle up behavior now match a factory manual car. A used ECU can also be supplied; ask about prices. Dashpot modification: ¥9,800 including the dashpot.

We install a JZX100 Optitron instrument cluster in a JZX90. New clusters are possible but expensive. Real Dream offers a lower cost option using a purchased secondhand JZX100 cluster with around 80,000–90,000 km recorded...

Cluster, internal modification and installation: ¥30,000–35,000

...reducing the total cost to that level. Prices vary with the cluster purchase cost. Installation of a supplied cluster is ¥20,000. A TRD 320 km/h speedometer can also be fitted, with a separate ¥35,000 instrument cost. Contact us by telephone or email.

Available only for cars brought to Real Dream. No mail order or wholesale service, and installation questions are not accepted.

JZX100 automatic to manual conversion Version 2 released: ¥498,000 with new manual ECU

Version 1 from ¥370,000

The dashpot was another conversion obstacle. Although the component is available separately, the mounting bracket caused difficulty. This modification avoids replacing the entire throttle body and controls sudden rpm drops.
