The RX-7's original concept was pure sports, so we pursued our own interpretation of purity. Beyond exterior and interior design, we wanted the audio system to look outstanding too, with ideas customers could use themselves rather than just a showpiece. Teamwork mattered: everyone contributed opinions.

We are happy with the finished combination of style and playfulness. Some of the enjoyment only becomes clear once you try it, so we encourage everyone to have a go at customizing.
