Page 90 — English translation
This report comes from a spring day at Nikko Circuit. First is Toyoaki Sugiyama's HCR32, with Tein suspension at 8 kg/mm front and 6 rear, a seven point roll cage, reinforced arms and an RB25DET with GT2535 turbo. He stiffened the suspension and body to compete with two door cars, but felt transitions lagged a beat, especially in the S bends.
Fitting the Largus anti roll bars in the afternoon transformed the movement. Faster roll reversal made direction changes quicker, initially turning in so sharply that he nearly spun, but once accustomed to it the response was exhilarating. He could now keep up through the S bends.
He learned that another maker's uprated bars had already been fitted, making the change even more surprising. He also learned that bars differ by maker and that increasing bar stiffness may require more damping. He enjoyed the test greatly.

Spring.2004
One day at Nikko
Sugiyama was calm and analytical, pursuing anything that interested him thoroughly. Is it just us, or might he be intimidating when angry?
Impression
Sugiyama's driving is economical, with everything seemingly under complete control.
Impression
He really pushes hard. The drift comes in with a rush and a big finish... words hardly convey it!
