Now a report from Kazuya Kiyono at Mobara Circuit in spring (why spring? … never mind). His S14 has Kei Office XR suspension, front 8K / rear 6K, and increased boost: sensible modifications. “We fitted the stabilizers in wet conditions and returned to stock in the dry, so I couldn't fully enjoy their strengths.

Even in the wet, I was impressed by the extra tire grip and stability. When I pushed harder, the higher limits meant the car moved faster than expected after breaking traction, which made me tense. It was my first drifting since changing from 16- to 17-inch tires, so I got overexcited.

With the stabilizers, steering felt lighter, it was easier to sense where the tires were pointing, and corrections became easier. I drove a little around town too: the suspension felt firm and easy to drive. Other people can't see them, but the metallic blue color looks cool and made me happy.”
